Me

Well I’ve managed to survive diving since I started in the early 80s.

Learnt to dive with a local BSAC club whose DO at the time introduced me to diving in Scotland.  Fed up with club politics I  left Bsac & spent sometime in the PADI system working as Divemaster/AI together with running a Dive Rib with a few like minded buddies.

I now dive purely for pleasure and enjoy all types of diving but if I had to choose then well, my favourire has to be Wall/Drop off diving. Bo Fascadale being the best wall to date. Favourite dive spots being the West coast of Scotland and outlying islands .

I’m not into getting into that agency debate as I believe all have something to offer.

Memorable Events

  • Diving Bo Fascadale took me 20years to get around to doing it
  • Whilst at St Kilda doing a Night Dive in Summer at 1am it was still light
  • Buddy running out of air 30m both narked out of our tree we shared to the surface( he only switched on one of his twins)
  • Buddy trying a bike lamp in a plastic bag as an underwater torch
  • Same Buddy After a 40m dive Question What have we come up for ? I think they call it no stop diving.

Yet to do
